Closing the Gap Women's Conference is a three-day, Spirit-filled gathering designed to equip, empower, and elevate women across generations through the Word of God, prayer, the prophetic, and discipleship.
For nearly a decade, Closing the Gap has been a transformative movement, impacting the lives of women through consistent gatherings rooted in spiritual growth, mentorship, and authentic community. On June 25, 2026, we celebrate 10 years of Closing the Gap, marking a decade of ministry that has reached thousands of women and closed spiritual and generational gaps.
Our theme is EXPANSION, rooted in Genesis 26:22:
“…for now the Lord has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”
This prophetic declaration signals a defining season, one where God is making room, enlarging territory, and increasing capacity. Throughout the conference, women will be challenged and equipped to step into new dimensions of faith, leadership, influence, and purpose, as they embrace the expansion God has already ordained for their lives.

Elder Christie is an ordained minister, prophetic voice, and founder of Christie Dobbins Ministries, a 501(c)(3) organization, as well as Closing the Gap™, a global women’s movement committed to closing spiritual and generational gaps through the Word of God, prayer, and discipleship. She brings over twenty years of ministry leadership and is known for her clear, biblical teaching equipping believers to discern God’s voice, walk in purpose, and advance the Kingdom. In addition to ministry, Christie has over two decades of experience in both corporate and nonprofit sectors, allowing her to lead with both spiritual depth and strategic insight. She is an instructor at The Potter’s House School of Ministry and is a mentor, coach, and international speaker who is passionate about developing leaders, especially women, to discover their purpose and make a lasting Kingdom impact. She has worked under multiple Florida governors, served as a Legislative Aide influencing policy and law, and was a former candidate for State Representative. A former pastor of over 20 years, she continued ministry during the pandemic by leading an online community on Clubhouse that grew to over 40,000 followers and saw 2,200 souls saved. Dr. Smith is an author, nonprofit leader, and President of BAM Florida Housing Assistance Boot Camp, equipping others with practical life and real estate skills to rebuild and thrive. A brilliant thinker, passionate teacher, and devoted student of Scripture, he brings nearly 30 years of preaching and ministry experience and serves as an Associate Pastor at The Potter's House of Dallas. His teaching is marked by wisdom, clarity, and a deep commitment to equipping believers to grow in faith and maturity in Christ. For the past three years, Pastor Dobbins has faithfully hosted P3, a daily 60-minute morning devotional streamed Monday through Friday across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, impacting lives through consistent biblical teaching and encouragement.
