About the Event
Luke 18:1 says, “..men ought always to PRAY, and not to faint;”
Join us for this four-week, in depth teaching on Prayer. If ever there was a time to pray, that time is now. The word “prayer” is common in Christianity, but being Christian doesn’t mean one actually prays. Don't allow what you think you know about prayer stop you from experiencing what God has planned for us.
Oftentimes there are two extremes when discussing prayer, one extreme minimizes prayer, while the other extreme makes prayer so “deep” that it causes many to feel inadequate and/or unskilled in the area of prayer. The goal of this class is three-fold, first to bring understanding through teaching, second to push you into consistent fellowship with God and lastly to restore hope in the power of prayer.
This will be more than a class, it will be a prayer meeting! We will teach extensively on the different types of prayer, how to pray, when to pray, what to pray, etc, but we will also demonstrate prayer. 1 John 5:14,15 says, “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.” (ESV) It's prayer time, Saints!
